Is CatGenie The Best Alternative To A Litter Box?

The 120 SaniSolution Cartridge is more efficient and economical than the previous one, and will last twice as long. Cat Activation is a setting that enables the cartridge to last for 240 rather than 120 washes.
The other advantage of this setting is that the unit gets cleaned right after a cat makes use of it. This is also better for the environment than cat litter, as the only thing that gets thrown away are the cartridges, and these are biodegradable (unlike cat litter). With its longer lasting cartridges, the CatGenie 120 is more economical than its predecessor.
Noise is often a complaint made by CatGenie owners. The fact is that during its 30 minute wash cycle it’s unlikely that you will hear anything for most of it. On the other hand the brief cycles when the water is draining might remind you of the sounds a washing machine might make. Keep in mind that this noise may bother you if you place the machine in the wrong location and your cat is a night owl. On the other hand, many cats make quite a bit of noise scratching at the bottom of their litter box as they clean up after themselves, and that’s a sound you won’t hear if you have CatGenie.
